Here in the UK we pay sales tax (VAT) at a rate of 17.5% on just about everything we buy. All the prices quoted on the web site are in GB pounds and include VAT at a rate of 17.5 %. Books and postage are the only exception to this, they contain no VAT. Provided your order is over 20.00 GBP we can deduct our country's VAT from items that we send to non EU (European Union) countries. To deduct the VAT from any of the figures on our web site divide them by 117.5 and multiply them by 100, or use the calculator below.
Unless you are in an EU country it is possible that your country will charge you duty on any goods you import, you will have to check with your government to be sure.

We cannot give you an accurate figure for what an item will cost you in currencies other than UK pounds. This is because two factors that are totally out of our control will influence the final price:

• Exchange rate on the day of the order. A good site to visit to get today's exchange rate is Yahoo.
• Your credit card companies rules on foreign transactions. Normally the credit card companies don't charge a premium for foreign transactions, but some do.
