There are numerous chargers on the market to choose from. You have a few decisions to make in order to determine the sort of charger which will suit you best.
Mains or 12 volt? If you are using your model within the vicinity of your house or if there is a mains supply which you can use locally then a mains charger is excellent. If on the other hand you are running outdoors and you have to rely on a 12 volt supply then naturally, you will require a 12v charger.
Peak or Not? If you are using your model for fun, are on a budget or are not particularly bothered by the difference in charge times or efficiency of the charger, then you will probably be quite satisfied with a clockwork charger. This type of charger works for a period of time and then cuts into a trickle charge. However, if you have the inclination then a peak charger is far more efficient and the choice is vast. This type of charger works with the battery and charger for as long as it needs to give the battery a full charge.
The examples below are not exclusive as ranges are changing all of the time. Get in touch if you want more help or information.
