The unit operates on 1v-3v (917D) also with higher torque motor (920D), or 6v-24v (927D) D.C. power sources, either battery or suitable transformer. Its simple versatile design and sturdy construction make it suitable for a host of uses from powering models and robots to teaching the principles of mechanics. Current consumption depends on eventual load but is within the range of 0.2 to 0.8 amps. The output shaft is 3mm diameter.

This miniature gearbox is of steel and brass construction with brass gears and is mounted on a 1 mm thickness steel bracket. It incorporates a high quality three pole motor with sintered-bronze bearings. The design and construction of the unit make it. suitable for a host of model and light industrial applications.

Designed for heavy-duty industrial and model applications this robust unit boasts a powerful high quality, three pole motor with sintered bronze bearings. The all steel gearbox incorporates bronze output bearings, enabling the high torque transfer from the motor to be transmitted through the gearbox. The unit is mounted on a 1 mm thick plated steel bracket.

OLYMPUS: The original toothed belt electric drive unit (another MFA innovation!). 2.3 : 1 reduction enabling large (up to 12" diameter glow engine type or folding) propellers to be driven by 500 - 600 size electric motors. Gives increased thrust due to the better efficiency of large diameter props. Absolutely ideal for scale models where the direct drive prop always looks wrong and also powered gliders using a large folding prop. Ball race for thrust and side loads and oilite rear bearing. Glass filled nylon mouldings with industrial quality toothed drive belt. 6.35mm (l/4") diameter prop shaft with 1/4 UNF thread. Weight with Rocket 500 motor 199g. O.A. length with motor 10Omm. MINI OLYMPUS: 2.3 : 1 gear reduction unit to suit the 400 (380) size motors. Enables large diameter propellers (8" either glow engine type or folding) to give greatly increased performance on these smaller electric flight motors. Uses a ball race for thrust and side loads and oilite bearing, glass filled nylon mouldings with large section gears for long life. 5mm diameter prop shaft with M5 thread. Weight with Rocket 400 motor 95g. O.A. length with motor 82mm. O.A. height with motor 45mm.
